Pit bull issues

O RLY???

I know a lot of people with tattoos and tough exteriors who have hearts of pure gold.  And I know a lot of Armani-suited, Anne Klein wearing people who would take your grandmother’s last dime with a bright white smile.  Or destroy the Eastern Seaboard with oil to cut corners for a house in the Bahamas.

That said, there are too many ignorant, stupid and/or evil people preying on pit bulls and exploiting their loyalty, strength and tenacity.

Why don’t some of you cashmere wearing intellectuals step up and do something good and helpful instead of making snarky harmful comments just to get ratings (you know I’m talking to you, Mr. Yellow Journalist)?

So sad, I have a pit who i rescued and he was classified as a “mix” our trainer said he is a full pit. But we dont care he is the best dog ever, his two best friend in life, besides us of course, are a 7 month olden golden retriver and the family cat, who he does not chase and has never tried to hurt. He is a wonderful dog. He is so much more behaved then most dogs i see on the street and out for walks. We are always getting barked at by big out of control labs and little dogs. It makes me feel great that i have this huge 75lb pit who hardly even looks in the direction of the miss behaving dogs.On the other hand we also pass pits who behave exactly how they shouldnt be, growling, barking and lunging. That kind of stuff gives them the bad rap, that is why we have put so much time and effort into ours, hopefully so people can see him and be ,like, wow look how good that dog is. And yes, we constanly hear it. If we could help save more pits we would do it in a heart beat.
